POSITION TITLE : REGISTERED NURSE (RN) SUPERVISOR
FLSA : EXEMPT
Supervisory Responsibilities :
Direct and manage the nursing, phlebotomist, referrals and medical assistant staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.
Act as the primary point of contact for resolving complex issues or discrepancies.
Monitor the team's productivity and provide regular feedback to ensure high performance.
Ensure the team adheres to SCHC principles, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
Duties / Responsibilities :
Ensure the delivery of comprehensive nursing care services, including triaging, health education, emergency care processes, nursing assessments, diagnoses, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Coordinate patient care and site health delivery systems using effective problem-solving techniques.
Serve as a resource for complex cases, providing clinical expertise and ensuring adherence to evidence-based practices.
Collaborate with the Nursing Supervisor, Associate Medical Director, Clinic Administrator, and other staff to manage patient care and operational duties.
Supervise nursing department staff, including RNs, LPNs,referrals, phlebotomist and medical assistants, ensuring adherence to professional standards and agency service guidelines.
Promote staff development through mentorship, training, and professional growth opportunities.
Conduct annual employee evaluations, manage weekly time schedules, and oversee vacation schedules as assigned.
Facilitate effective communication and foster a supportive work environment through strong interpersonal skills.
Facilitate quality assurance initiatives to enhance patient care and ensure compliance with FQHC, state, and federal regulations, including OSHA and HIPAA standards.
Participate in agency committees such as Quality Improvement (QI) and Infection Control as requested.
Maintain accurate documentation and monitor clinical performance metrics to uphold quality care standards.
Lead efforts to create a high standard of professionalism and service excellence.
Actively engage in interdisciplinary team collaboration to achieve organizational goals and address patient needs effectively.
Utilize good interpersonal skills to build rapport with staff and patients, ensuring a positive healthcare experience.
Support the development and implementation of clinical protocols, policies, and workflows.
Maintain accurate documentation and monitor clinical performance metrics.
Perform additional tasks as needed to support the centers.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and related software.
Education and Experience :
Associate's degree in Nursing is required.
Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred.
Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida.
BLS is required within three months of hire.
Physical Requirements :
Ability to stand or walk for extended periods while providing patient care.
Ability to lift, carry, or move up to 25-50 pounds (e.g., assisting patients, handling equipment, or supplies).
Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, and crouching to assist patients or perform procedures.
Ability to move quickly in response to patient needs or emergencies.
May be exposed to adverse indoor and outdoor environmental conditions, blood borne pathogens, physical hazards (e.g., needle pricks, etc.) and chemical hazards.
Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) for extended periods, including masks, gloves, and gowns.
Must be able to travel to various center locations as required.
