The 10-week paid internship features an educational and skills-based curriculum designed to foster strong leadership qualities, goal development, and professional networking. This hands-on program provides college students with the opportunity to work in a department alongside Suncoast Credit Union employees. Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and testing of software applications used in credit union operations
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and debug software issues
- Document software development processes and procedures
- Assist in the implementation of software updates and enhancements
- Participate in meetings to gather requirements and provide progress updates
- Conduct research on emerging technologies and industry trends relevant to software development in the financial sector
- Support the maintenance and optimization of existing software systems
- Complete assigned projects within specified deadlines
- Currently pursuing or recently obtained a bachelor’s degree in c omputer science, software engineering, or a related field
- Open to current students or 2024/2025 graduates ONLY
- Ability to work part-time or full-time onsite in Tampa, FL
- Proficiency in programming languages, preferably C#
- Familiarity with software development tools and environments, such as IDEs and version control systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Basic understanding of database concepts and SQL
- Previous experience or coursework in software development is a plus
