Job Description
Suncoast Drivers is looking for a Class A / B delivery driver in the Lafayette, LA area! All routes are local and home daily! Paid weekly, and benefits available as soon as you start!
Pay - $19 / hr. OT is paid after 40 hours!
Schedule :
Tuesday - Friday (some Mondays & Saturdays as needed)
Start time : 4 AM until route is completed. Shift run about 12 hours per day.
Responsibilities :
Deliver products to bars, restaurants, hotels, and other customer locations
Load, unload, and handle freight
Operate and maintain delivery vehicles per DOT and company guidelines
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
Process payments and maintain accurate records
Adhere to all safety and operational procedures
Complete required paperwork, including DOT logbook and vehicle inspection reports
Requirements :
In-person interview and road test required
Must be able to lift / push / pull up to 56 lbs
Frequent bending, squatting, and standing
Ability to operate machinery such as a forklift
Additional hours may be required during peak seasons (Oct-Dec)
