Construction Technician - Quality Assurance

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all project closeouts meet company standards—you are essentially the "Zamboni" for each project.
  • Participate in client walkthroughs to document all punch list items.
  • Address any tasks that are not deficiencies or incomplete work.
  • Perform warranty-related tasks to support past and existing clients.
  • Assist Construction Managers in coordinating trades to complete any outstanding deficiencies.
  • Communicate the status of all assigned tasks and processes to Construction Managers.
  • Provide support to maintain the overall project production schedule.
  • Attend weekly production meetings.
  • Log daily activities and tasks in Buildertrend .

Compensation & Benefits

  • Annual Salary : $65,000, with a formal review after 6 months.
  • Work Hours : Generally 8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM, Monday – Friday (subject to change based on project needs).
  • Company Vehicle : Vehicle allowance provided for the first 3 months.
  • Paid Time Off :

    • 1 week of paid vacation.

  • 3 days of paid sick leave.
  • Paid holidays, including New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving (and the day after), Christmas (and the day after).
  • Retirement Plan : Simple IRA with company match up to 3% of salary .
