Seeking a medical experienced, patient-friendly personality for busy ophthalmology office. The position involves answering the phone, scheduling appointments, verifying insurances, getting authorizations, checking patients in and out, filing and pulling charts, collecting co-pays and patient balances, posting charges and payments.

Job Duties:
- Checking in and out patients
- Scheduling
- Corresponding with other departments
- Pulling and filing charts
- Verifying insurance plans, getting authorizations & referrals
- Stocking supplies
- Answering and routing phone calls
Financial Duties:
- Inputting daily charges & payments
- Obtaining any authorizations & referrals needed
