Maintenance Technician
Sundance Property Management is seeking a full time Maintenance Technician in Summerville, SC.
Pay : Starting at $25 / hour depending on experience

Responsibilities :
- Perform general repair of household appliances
- Perform carpentry, electrical and sewer repairs as needed
- Perform painting and / or drywall maintenance / repair as needed
- Communicate and follow up with the Property Manager about maintenance concerns and the status of work orders
- Assist Project Manager in contracting vendors and taking bids for special project
- Paint, clean, and repair all vacant units within a timely and impeccable manner
- Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches, to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices
- Ensure that maintenance parts, supplies, and equipment are always stocked and available
- Assemble, install and / or repair wiring, electrical and electronic components, pipe systems, plumbing, machinery, and equipment
- Effectively utilize a smart phone to handle texting, emailing, and calendar management.
Qualifications :
- High School Diploma or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate
- Minimum of 1 years' of general maintenance experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- HVAC Certification preferred
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
- Ability to work Monday Friday 8AM 5 PM
- Willing and Able to participate in 24HR Emergency On Call Rotation
- Excellent Communication Skills : Proficient in professional and effective communication with prospects, co-workers, residents, vendors, and supervisors.
- Ability to move items weighing up to 80 pounds
- Ability to work in indoor and outdoor weather conditions
