Teacher's Assistant, Substitutes—Sundborn Children’s House, a Montessori School
Job Summary
Sundborn seeks a person with some experience working with young children. This part time, year round, weekday position involves being a teacher’s assistant as well as working with a small group of children. We are currently looking for someone who is typically available from 7:30-3 PM M-F beginning July 8th. There is a strong possibility for moving into a more consistent position in the future.
Come join our team of experienced staff as we feed the fires of intelligence, creativity and love in every child. At Sundborn Children's House, we create a peaceful, engaging Montessori environment that nurtures the child's natural love of work, life, discovery, and independence.
Together with the teacher, the Assistant shares the responsibility for the safety and physical well-being of the children, both indoor and outside, and helps to prepare and maintain the classroom.
