Job Summary
The Talent Acquisition (TA) Intern will assist in various activities with both our recruiting and our on-boarding teams. The TA intern will partner with our recruiting team to support sourcing, postings and identifying talent for current openings. This role will also work alongside our on-boarding team to assist in the full hiring process.
The TA Intern will report into the TA Manager.
Key Responsibilities
1. Assist in new hire paperwork, entering into HRIS system and distribute paperwork to appropriate departments.
2. Effectively source qualified active & passive candidates using creative sourcing strategies.
3. Help coordinate interviews, track candidate progress and manage communication with applicants.
4. Initiate and manage new hire processes (alerts, equipment coordination, etc.), conduct pre-employment drug testing and background screening.
5. Partner with Talent Acquisition Specialist to support the full recruiting cycle and update candidate databases and tracking systems.
6. Perform general administrative tasks and other duties as assigned.
Minimum Job Requirements
1. A positive, can-do attitude with a passion for learning and developing in the Talent Acquisition field.
2. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
3. Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or another related field.
4. Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
5. Knowledge of recruitment platforms (Oracle Recruiting Cloud, LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.) is a plus.
6. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
7. Strong written and verbal communication skills.

7. Will use telephone, computer system, email, and other electronic devices on a frequent basis to communicate with internal and external customers or vendors
