Annual Salary: $130,000.00 - $150,000.00
Additional Compensation
Salary Range for this position: $130K-150K (the salary offered will be determined based on the applicant’s education, experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, and will be compared with internal equity along with market data for this position).

Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Owns, forms, and supports positive relationships with key suppliers, and internal stakeholders
- Drives bottom line results, improving service, risk, quality across managed spend categories
- Collects and refines data with the global team to initiate request for proposals and requests for quotations. Leads negotiation efforts and delivers compelling counteroffers to key supply relationships
- Identifies, develops, and leads the efforts to qualify high performing suppliers across the portfolio
- Develops long term thoughtful category strategies for global spend
- Challenges the performance capabilities of suppliers through identifying areas of efficiency in the operations process, optimizing the supply chain and eliminating waste
- Develops and implements risk mitigation reinforcements through cooperation with the suppliers for asset and employee redundancy and follows up on implementation of these programs driving results
- Validates current and future capacity capabilities by asset along with opportunities for portfolio optimization.
- Drives performance & quality improvement programs in partnership with Sundyne quality
- Develops supplier performance management and risk mitigation programs across Sundyne’s spend portfolio
- Constructs & modifies contract language to reduce risk exposure of the business
- Leads, presents key improvements, developments across strategic sourcing portfolio in business reviews to leadership
- Understands ongoing trends across the globe and adjusts strategy through integrating needed agility into supply chain plans
- Forecasts inflation for responsible spend categories appropriately based on market intelligence
- Suggests improvement, refinement to end-to-end supply chain processes
- Six sigma or lean experience preferred
- Engineering experience preferred
- In depth understanding of strategic sourcing programs & practices
- Strong negotiations skills
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking skills
- Strong relational skills, ability to structure a compelling business proposition
- Agile, adaptable to the rapidly changing supply chain environment
- Ability to multi-task and manage the pressure of the supply chain environment
- Approximately 40% travel (global and domestic)
- Experience in a manufacturing environment required
- Experience with ERP systems
- Fluent in English
- Minimum of 10-15 years strategic sourcing experience
- Master’s degree preferred
- ISM/CPSM certification preferred
- Experience with ERP systems preferred
- Lean or Six Sigma experience certification preferred
- Ability to travel minimum 40% of the time
- Ability to lift up to thirty-five pounds
- Ability to work in a standard office setting
