General Duties and Responsibilities
- Support senior management in review of legal documents
- Perform legal research, analysis, and summary of legal documents
- Coordinate the preparation of legal documents and cooperate with third-party attorneys in representation of company interests.
- Draft routine legal documents and correspondence, assist in preparing initial drafts for review and approval by corporate third-party attorneys as needed
- Assist third party counsel in litigation matters by responding to discovery requests, assisting with compiling information for responding to complaints, research of allegations as needed
- Provide timely responses to requesting departments and assist outside counsel
- Plan, organize, coordinate, and track programs and projects associated with various legal matters of the company
- Establish strong rapport and working relationships with other administrative staff, as well as strong relationships with outside counsel and lenders
- Foster and encourage a culture of superior service, responsiveness, safety, collegiality, and dairy and community engagement, while helping achieve the successful construction and operations of the company's greenhouse gas reduction projects.
Real Estate Document Development and Management
The typical document packages include Lease and Feedstock Supply Agreements, Non-Disturbance and Attornment Agreements, easements, License and Indemnification Agreements, and various related memoranda of recording.
Construction and Operation Contracts
Manage and assist in developing Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) documents.
