Job Description
We are seeking a Crew Lead to oversee and manage our solar installation teams. As a Crew Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality installations, maintaining safety standards, and fostering a collaborative team environment. You will guide your team through each project, ensuring efficiency, problem-solving on-site challenges, and upholding Sunergy’s commitment to excellence. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of solar installers, ensuring safe and efficient installations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact on-site, coordinating tasks and workflows.
- Maintain high-quality workmanship and adherence to industry and company standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during installations.
- Provide hands-on training and mentorship to team members.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and Sunergy’s safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, homeowners, and team members.
- Conduct site assessments and ensure accurate documentation of completed work.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in solar installation is a MUST.
- Proven leadership experience in construction, electrical, or solar industries.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, roofing, and construction techniques.
- Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform manual labor.
- Comfortable working on rooftops and in confined spaces.
