Sunflower Bank, N.A is looking for a highly motivated individual to fill the position of a full-time Application Engineer. The Application Engineer is responsible for providing Level I and Level II application support on common office productivity tools and devices. This position researches and responds to user requests and questions, and remediates complex issues within our application systems.
- Provide technical support for banking application-related issues, including troubleshooting and resolving problems.
- Monitor application performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to identify and fix bugs.
- Assist in the deployment and configuration of banking applications.
- Document support processes and maintain accurate records of issues and resolutions.
- Conduct training sessions for users on application features and best practices.
- Stay updated with the latest application updates and industry trends.
- Responsible for developing and maintaining systems and applications in alignment with SBNA security controls and standards related to protecting sensitive data for compliance with Gramm Leach Bliley Act (GLBA).
Education / Experience Preferred:
- Bachelor s Degree in a related field.
- Minimum of five years of experience providing application support, specializing in COTS applications to include all common office productivity tools.
- Operational knowledge of condition monitoring and associate applications.
- Demonstrated project management abilities.
Pay is dependent on knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, and location.
