Sunflower Bank is looking for an energetic, highly motivated individual to fill the position of a full-time Credit Administrator in San Diego, CA. The Credit Administrator has oversight of a team of Portfolio Managers (PMs) and Credit Analysts. This position is responsible for consistent commercial underwriting and adherence to the company’s credit policies and culture, PM development and pipeline management.
The salary range for this position is $150,000 to $180,000 depending on knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, and location.
- Ensure appropriate level of regional portfolio management support for commercial lending platform by staying abreast of the regional deal pipeline and staffing deals appropriately.
- Support Portfolio Management knowledge and career development through participation in calls and customer meetings, understanding of credit and operating policies and business line strategies.
- Monitor, evaluate and coach Portfolio Managers in portfolio management duties including underwriting new opportunities, renewals, modifications, Annual Review Jobs (ARJs), and covenant testing.
- Meet regularly with regional leadership and the Regional Senior Credit Administrator (RSCA) to review the portfolio and ensure team building / communication and appropriate portfolio management with a focus on the customer / borrower.
