Sunflower Bank, N.A is looking for a highly motivated individual to fill the position of a full-time IT Business Relationship Manager. The IT Business Relationship Manager will contribute to managing and improving relationships with internal and external IT customers in the treasury management and payments related lines of business. This role is responsible for overseeing Business Partner facing initiatives for IT. This includes promoting engagement, developing relationships, understanding business direction, prioritization and needs, driving formulation of solutions and roadmaps, proactively communicating, managing service level agreements, reporting, and overseeing service improvement initiatives.
Initiate and develop relationships with business users to build rapport and credibility as well as develop a deep knowledge of assigned program area(s).Manage and collaborate with the Treasury Management IT Business Analyst resource on day-to-day support issues, small service requests and project initiatives.Serve as liaison between IT and business end users.Advocate within IT, helping the delivery teams better understand business strategies and actions.Conduct business reviews to ensure the business is satisfied with their products and services.Responsible to provide guidance, direction, and technical expertise to the business to foster healthy partnerships and convey recommended solutions.Evaluate opportunities to leverage technology to streamline business operations.Responsible for translating business requirements into technical definitions to provide to architecture and engineering teams.Partners with the business to facilitate the creation of ideation documents, business cases, and ROI calculations.Partner with the line of business and provide guidance to prioritize initiatives based on IT resource capacity and enterprise strategic initiatives.Education / Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or 5 years of IT or related line of business experience.ACH Accredited Professional (AAP) or other payments or treasury management related certification preferred.Demonstrated understanding of treasury management products and services, including but not limited to ACH, wires, lockbox, remote deposit capture, positive pay, account analysis and client onboarding.Strong verbal and written communication skills; be able to communicate in a clear, constructive, and professional manner.Experience developing return on investment calculations.Ability to efficiently manage time and keep track of multiple schedules, meetings, and initiatives.Experience in project management, creation of project definition, scope, and deliverables.Financial services experience a plus.Pay is dependent on knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, and location.
