MUST HAVE: Experience developing and managing marketing programs 

Preferred: College degree with Marketing, Business, English, or Journalism major or equivalent experience

Sunflower Bank is looking for an energetic, highly motivated individual to fill the position of a fulltime Marketing Manager in our Dallas, TX and Plano, TX locations.

We have 2 openings as a Marketing Manager for Sunflower Bank. Breakdown of the positions are below: 

• One opportunity will have a primary focus on our commercial and business banking products and services, in the creation and      implementation of marketing strategies and deliverables.  We are looking for 5-7 years of marketing experience, preferably with experience in commercial bank marketing or related B2B financial services industry. 
• The other opportunity will have a primary focus on our Wealth Management and Private Banking products and services, in the creation and implementation of marketing strategies and deliverables. For this role, we need someone with at least 7-10 years of marketing experience, must have prior experience in wealth management or investment management marketing.

Summary: 

The Marketing Manager is responsible for the development and execution of strategies and communications in alignment with corporate priorities, compliance and regulatory requirements, company culture, and brand. As part of the Corporate Marketing Department, the Marketing Manager leads marketing activations by coordinating with relevant internal and external partners to create a wide range of marketing deliverables.  

Primary Responsibilities 

• Collaborate with the Marketing Director and others to develop campaigns and programs that are aligned with corporate goals.
• Establish a positive relationship with executives, line of business leaders and stakeholders; collaborate with managers to help formulate strategy and influence production.
• Support the bank’s lines of business and markets, with a primary focus on dedicated line of business and business banking products and services, in the creation and implementation of marketing strategies and deliverables. 
• Develop and manage marketing programs, which can include collateral, website content, social media, and other marketing      formats.
• Evaluate opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships and advertising on an on-going basis.
• Write copy and aid in the creation of marketing collateral, advertisements, and assorted media.
• Track marketing programs from inception to completion and provide analysis on ROI.
• Conduct market research as needed, through external resources or internal resources; track reports already completed and analyze as needed.
• Ensure brand communication is consistent with company and brand positioning.
• Ensure all advertising and customer communications adhere to current compliance laws and regulations.
• Perform the job in accordance with applicable industry laws and regulations as well as the policies and procedures established by the company.
• Responsible for upholding Fair and Responsible Banking practices and Code of Ethics and Conduct guidelines.
• Understand and participate in the Bank’s Community Reinvestment Act program.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education / Experience 

• College degree with Marketing, Business, English, or Journalism major or equivalent experience
• 5-10 years of marketing experience in banking, B2B financial services, private banking, mortgage, or wealth management industry  
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
• Ability to organize, multi-task, work independently on several projects and meet deadlines
• Ability to provide accurate work
• Skill in defining problems, collecting data and interpreting information
• Ability to read, interpret and apply compliance law and regulations
• Exceptional attention to detail and proofreading skills
• Must be bondable.

Pay is dependent on knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, and location.
