Media Center Director

Duties and Responsibilities

• Supervise Media Center: Ensure smooth operation, manage daily activities, and provide leadership to support staff.
• Procure Materials: Evaluate, select, and requisition materials to meet curriculum needs and maintain a diverse collection.
• Support Teachers: Assist in lesson planning, provide instructional resources, and collaborate on project development.
• Promote Student Success: Develop skills in reference work, reading guidance, and library literacy, and monitor attendance in the media center.
• Maintain Records: Keep accurate records of attendance, materials, and finances, and ensure compliance with district requirements.
