What are the responsibilities and job description for the EIC Technician I - Senior position at Sunflower Electric Power Corporation?
In this position at Holcomb Station, our 394-megawatt coal-fired generating unit, you'll receive hands-on training and advancement opportunities while working with electrical equipment in a heavy industrial environment. You'll learn from a highly skilled and experienced group of EI&C Technicians and provide electrical troubleshooting and repair responsibility to our generation equipment and plant ancillary equipment. Install, troubleshoot, calibrate, maintain, test, tune, and repair complex electronic, electro-mechanical, pneumatic equipment, recorders, and programmable logic controllers.

Qualifications:
- Two year post high school technical certification in industrial electric or instrument and controls and four years progressively responsible industrial electric or instrument and controls experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of troubleshooting programmable logic controllers, distributed control systems, and variable frequency drives. Must be able to understand their components and functions.
