Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled Clinical Excellence Specialist to lead and manage our quality improvement initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our programs and initiatives are compliant with applicable accreditation, state, and federal requirements.
About the Job
- Assess and evaluate programs, initiatives, and interventions to ensure goals and objectives were met and refines activities, as needed, to improve the effectiveness and outcomes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas of improvement within the organization and develop clinical and non-clinical performance improvement projects.
- Develop and maintain relationships with contracted providers or provider groups to promote participation in quality improvement collaboratives to improve clinical care outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Research best practices, national and regional benchmarks, and industry standards to inform quality improvement initiatives.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve Star Ratings, HEDIS, CAHPS, HOS, provider satisfaction, and other identified performance measures.
- Maintain current knowledge of industry trends and regulations for enterprise-wide adoption to assure quality and effectiveness of healthcare delivery and/or healthcare services provided to members.
