Job Overview:
We are seeking motivated and results-driven Solar Sales Dealers to partner with our EPC company. As a Solar Sales Dealer, you will be responsible for generating new business, managing customer relationships, and selling solar energy systems to homeowners, businesses, and other potential clients. The ideal candidate will have a passion for renewable energy, excellent communication skills, and a strong desire to make a positive impact on the environment while achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation & Prospecting:
- Identify and generate new leads through various methods such as cold calling, networking, referrals, and outreach.
- Qualify potential customers by understanding their energy needs, budget, and suitability for solar installation.
Sales Consultations:
- Conduct in-home or virtual consultations to assess customer energy usage and recommend solar solutions.
- Provide accurate pricing, system design, and energy savings analysis to prospective customers.
- Present product offerings, financing options, and benefits of solar energy to customers.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers throughout the sales process and after installation.
- Address customer questions and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Coordinate with installation teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
Negotiation & Closing:
- Negotiate contracts and finalize agreements with customers, ensuring all terms and conditions are understood.
- Meet or exceed monthly sales quotas and performance goals.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, product offerings, and market conditions to provide customers with accurate and relevant information.
Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, customer interactions, and project statuses in CRM software.
- Submit regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and market insights to management.
Customer Education:
- Educate customers on the benefits of solar energy, government incentives, and environmental impact.
- Provide post-sale support to ensure customers understand how to monitor and maintain their solar systems.
Qualifications:
- Proven sales experience, preferably in renewable energy, solar, or home improvement industries.
- Strong understanding of solar energy systems, energy efficiency, and financing options.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts to customers in an easy-to-understand manner.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in business, environmental science, or related field is a plus.
- Previous experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) is preferred.
