Overview:
SunGarden Montessori School is seeking a highly organized and dedicated Operations Manager to join our team. This pivotal role ensures the smooth day-to-day administrative and operational functions of our school, supporting the needs of staff, families, and children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee administrative operations, including managing records, correspondence, and scheduling.
- Serve as a point of contact for families, staff, and vendors.
- Coordinate billing, invoicing, and financial documentation with the school’s accountant or finance team.
- Manage facility needs and liaise with maintenance providers.
- Support the Head of School with projects, communication, and events.
- Substitute in classrooms as needed, providing assistance and maintaining a supportive environment for children.
- Uphold and embody the school’s Montessori philosophy in daily interactions.
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience in office management, administration, or a related field.
- Ability to work with children and step into a classroom setting when needed.
- Familiarity with Montessori education is a plus but not required.
- Proficiency in google suite.
