The Developer, Business Intelligence is responsible for leading digital transformation efforts within the organization, developing and implementing modern, complex technical solutions that enable business growth and scalability. This position communicates regularly with business units and plays a key role in maintaining and enhancing the data warehouse and models.
Essential Job functions / Duties :
- Conduct customer workshops to identify the business processes for digital transformation and the accompanying requirements.
- Develop scalable and long-term business solutions using PowerApps (Model-Driven, Canvas, or Portal) with appropriate workflows and validations.
- Integrate data from other sources and create automation routines with Power Automate.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and query MS Dataverse, SharePoint, SQL, and other databases.
- Independently develop queries to extract, manipulate and / or calculate information to fulfill data reporting requirements.
- Design and deliver Power BI reports and dashboards utilizing the data warehouse, summarizing findings through automated visualizations.
- Translate complex data and analyses into clear reports and visualizations that effectively communicate insights and tell a compelling story, making actionable recommendations based on the data.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the underlying data to maintain reliable reporting and analytics.
- Explore and incorporate AI technologies (such as Azure Cognitive Services, Microsoft Agents, OpenAI APIs, or other machine learning models) into Power Platform solutions.
- Develop AI-powered features like chatbots, predictive analytics, and intelligent automation to enhance business processes.
- Data Management across multiple systems and business units (i.e. removing duplicates, standardizing data and incorporating rules to eliminate incorrect data from entering the system).
- Collaborate with IT and users to create, validate, and maintain data quality.
- Create and maintain documentation for data standards (master data, reference data, data quality and integration rules).
- Work closely with business units and stakeholders in identifying data related opportunities.
- Develop data quality reports to monitor the health of the enterprises' master data.
- Identify and lead data quality improvement initiatives.
- Design and develop scalable data models and data warehouses with a long-term approach.
- Be a champion for data integrity
- Performs other duties.
- Will travel occasionally to offsite venues including packinghouses, media and trade events.
- Must work in office Monday - Friday. A regular telework schedule will not be considered.
- Special projects may call for occasional evening and / or weekend hours.
- Travel by automobile, rail and air; overnight travel.
