JOB SUMMARY:
- Under limited supervision performs work of considerable difficulty in the repair and maintenance of products and equipment and related work as assigned.
- Schedule: 6:30am-3:00pm
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Maintenance Technician performs to the following tasks:
- Scheduled receiving of all inbound repair service requests from end-users, dealerships, or sales returns processors.
- Review, inspect, analyze, diagnose, and repair following established protocols
- Test for No Failure Found (Check OK or No Failure Found (“CKOK”)
- Repair and/or replace any failed parts and/or accessories where necessary and reset to factory settings
- Repack all items in plain brown boxes
- All labeling required to ensure accurate processing
- Perform quality assurance processes to return unit to factory specification
- Pack, palletize, and/or package as required to facilitate safe and secure shipment of products to end destination(s)
- Follow-up as necessary on any shipping errors, omissions, damage claims, customer inquiries, corrections, deletions, or other inquiries resulting from a non-conforming repair order completion
- Provide direct and indirect support for all Power Tool specialty programs
- Provide any ancillary services and labor as necessary to promote all operations and functions associated with authorized product category repairs
- Performs other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- Proficient in computer skills
- Detail oriented
- Good verbal, written skills
- Ability to work on a team as well as unsupervised
- Strong communication skills; thorough and attentive to details; able to prioritize and multitask; proactive and deadline-oriented.
- Ability to read and understand work orders, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to interact effectively with customers, vendors and employees at all levels of the organization
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma and five (5) years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
- Possess or have ability to become forklift certified
- State issued Driver’s License or equivalent
