- Perform all management-level responsibilities for assigned team members including performance reviews, career development, coaching, and counseling; ensure a positive work environment, awareness of all staff of company goals and objectives, and compliance to all applicable employment policies, oversee, mentor and train managers in the above listed responsibilities.
- Direct and review the allocation of team resources against demand; help define resource capacity needs, participate in establishing and direct the management of labor and expense budgets for assigned services and projects and provide visibility of team status to executives, while supporting departmental and company goals
- Establish standards and processes for key operational requirements for the implementation, operation and support of Sunland’s technology infrastructure that fulfill the needs of the business, with the goal to deliver high-availability, performance, capacity, in a cost effective and secure manner.
- Direct and manage the workplace infrastructure and security workstream; oversee the day-to-today activities of service desk, security; network infrastructure, servers, and cloud storage operations.
- Manage vendor relationships and contracts for infrastructure services, hardware, and software, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to service level.
- Contribute to the development and management of the IT department's budget, ensuring cost-effective utilization of resources.
- Collaborate cross-functionally within the IT team, as well as with necessary internal and external business partners; provide technical expertise and guidance, networking and operating system expertise, project management and function as point of management escalation for your assigned team.
- Fulfills supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable law. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
- Manages up to Five (5) direct reports with overarching responsibility for up to twenty-five (25) employees within IT department.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Minimum Required Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, business administration or equivalent related work or military experience
- Seven (7) years of experience with data centers, servers, enterprise storage, public cloud, virtual / high performance computing, voice, and data
- Seven (7) years of experience in technology leadership experience (including budget management)
- Five (5) years of experience managing multiple teams and managers of people.
- Deep understanding of current and emerging I&O technologies and practices, and how other enterprises are employing them.
- Knowledge of DevOps, as well as other working practices (e.g., ITIL, Agile, 6-Sigma, Lean, etc.)
- Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Enterprise Technologies including both on-premises and Azure based AD, Azure Entra ID, Workplace mgmt., and Office365
- Experience managing cloud IaaS environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Strong knowledge and understanding of a wide array of IT Security technologies including NGFW, IDS/IPS, VPNs
- Demonstrated understanding how to measure team performance and track SLAs, KPIs, and other metrics.
- Knowledge of Identity Access Management (IAM) and/or Identity Governance Administration (IGA) systems
- Experience in managing different work-streams and coordinating tasks with internal teams and outside consultants.
- Twelve (12) years of experience with data centers, servers, enterprise storage, public cloud, virtual / high performance computing, voice, and data
- Proven experience or demonstrated capability in leading IT transformational initiatives in complex, dynamic environments where agile was applied at scale.
- Master’s degree in business administration or technical/computer science subject area
- Experience with compliance frameworks such as SOX, SOC2, ISO 27001, and FedRAMP
