Triathlon Battery Solutions, a division of Sunlight Group, is looking for a candidate to fulfill the role and duties of Director of Customer Experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing strategies and procedures to optimize after sale customer interactions with our company. This role requires a strong leader who can collaborate cross-functionally and with a team to ensure alignment with the company's overall goals and values, while also championing the voice of the customer throughout the organization. The candidate must have the ability to adapt quickly to change and drive customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention via qualitative and quantitative matrices.
Key Responsibilities
To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.
- Attend essential training meetings and develop an understanding of all the company’s services and products.
- Ensure work orders are filled out properly and in a timely manner.
- Convey all information to the proper contact at the customer’s location to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Practice safety and good housekeeping at customer site, in shop and in all circumstances when representing Triathlon.
- Help where needed (Shop) or as directed by Management
- Operate company equipment in a safe, responsible manner.
- Communicate with Management and Sales on any customer issues.
- Exhibit integrity and reliability in all job responsibilities, fostering a culture of honesty and trust
- Always uphold company policies and procedures
- Ability to operate forklift truck, crane, and reach truck on a regular basis.
Requirements/ Qualifications

Competencies, Skills, Knowledge:
- Proven experience as a Service Technician or similar role, demonstrating a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, testing equipment, and technical manuals to troubleshoot and repair equipment effectively.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure and technical manuals.
- Ability to calculate prices accurately when quoting estimates or completion of the work order for billing purposes, such as adding, subtracting, percentages and volume.
- Ability to define problems and draw valid conclusions on the work that needs to be performed.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Critical thinking and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong written, communication and customer satisfaction skills.
- High degree of organization, deadline focus, self-motivation and accountability.
- Ability to deal with difficult situations and maintain a positive attitude.
- Must be detail oriented. Analytical ability to prioritize work and move from task to task.
- Basic computer skills including working knowledge of MS Word and Excel and experience interfacing with ERP system, or similar

- While performing the duties of this job, individual is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles.
- Individual regularly exposed to high, precarious places, toxic or caustic chemicals and risk of electrical shock.
- Noise level is minimal to loud. Surroundings clean to dirty.
- Regular use of safety glasses and shoes. Vision requirements: close vision.
Education, Experience, Certifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. Two-year technical degree or equivalent combination of work experience and education preferred.
- One to three years of battery industry or related experience and preferably in a field service environment.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Forklift Training Certification a plus.
