Job Summary: The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing daily operations within the warehouse to ensure efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of materials for Sunlight Group's Energy Storage Systems (ESS). This includes managing inventory, coordinating with production and shipping teams, and ensuring that all warehouse activities comply with safety standards. The Warehouse Supervisor will lead a team of warehouse associates, monitor workflows, and maintain a well-organized and safe environment.
Key Responsibilities:
· Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the warehouse team, including receiving, storing, and shipping of materials and finished goods.
· Ensure proper inventory management, including regular cycle counts and reconciliation of inventory discrepancies.
· Collaborate with production and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and finished products to support production schedules and customer orders.
· Maintain an organized warehouse layout and ensure that all materials are properly labeled, stored, and accessible.
· Monitor and enforce safety protocols to prevent workplace accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
· Train and mentor warehouse staff on proper handling of materials, safety procedures, and warehouse best practices.
· Coordinate with shipping carriers to ensure timely dispatch of customer orders and manage related paperwork.
· Oversee the maintenance of warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, ensuring they are in safe working condition.
· Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency, reduce costs, and improve material flow.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is a plus.
· 3 years of experience in warehouse or inventory management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
· Proven supervisory experience with a focus on warehouse operations.
· Knowledge of inventory management systems and warehouse software (e.g., ERP systems such as SAP).
· Forklift certification and experience operating warehouse equipment.

· Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
· Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
· Attention to detail and problem-solving skills to address inventory and logistical challenges.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and familiarity with inventory management software.
