Commercial Lender

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Lender to join our team. As a Commercial Lender, you will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of commercial loans. Responsibilities:
- Evaluate loan applications and assess creditworthiness of borrowers
- Analyze financial statements, tax returns, and other relevant documents to determine loan eligibility
- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients to generate loan opportunities
- Structure loan terms and negotiate agreements with borrowers
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, including TILA and other lending laws
- Collaborate with loan officers, underwriters, and other team members to facilitate the loan process
- Monitor the performance of existing loans and take appropriate action when necessary
- Stay updated on market trends, industry developments, and changes in lending practices

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Proven experience as a Commercial Lender or similar role in the financial services industry
- Strong knowledge of loan processing procedures and best practices
- Familiarity with commercial lending regulations and compliance requirements
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to assess creditworthiness and evaluate risk
- Proficiency in basic math and financial calculations
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively

Preferred Skills:
- Experience using 10-key typing for data entry purposes
- Familiarity with contract negotiation and documentation

Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
