Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Home Health Agency Director of Nursing / Administrator to oversee the operations of our agency. This role is crucial in ensuring that our patients receive high-quality care while maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in home care and hospice services, along with exceptional management skills to lead our team effectively. This is a START UP AGENCY with other health care services already in place. Must be able to use company car to travel to Lincoln 1 day per week on company time.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the home health agency, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
- Supervise staff, including nurses, caregivers, and administrative personnel, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Oversee documentation review processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Maintain medical records in accordance with resident rights and confidentiality standards.
- Ensure quality of care by implementing best practices in acute care and hospice care settings.
- Conduct regular training sessions for staff on physiology knowledge and systems used in patient care.
- Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare providers, patients, and families to enhance service delivery.
Experience
- Proven experience in managing a home health agency or similar healthcare facility.
- Strong knowledge of home care regulations, hospice care practices, and resident rights.
- Experience in supervising staff and managing teams effectively.
- Familiarity with documentation review processes and medical record management systems.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- A background in acute care settings is preferred but not mandatory.

Pay: $42.94 - $45.96 per hour
