What are the responsibilities and job description for the Underground Pipe Crew Foreman position at Sunline Civil Construction Inc.?
Sunline Civil Construction is an established Underground Utilities Company operating out of Palm City, Florida. You MUST have experience, be able to work in the Treasure Coast area and have a valid drivers license. Ideally we would like to hire a full pipe crew; foreman, tailman, pipe layer, loader & backhoe operators, etc. We offer competitive pay, benefits, and provide a company vehicle.
Duties
- Supervise and lead a crew of construction workers to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to project timelines.
- Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that work meets industry standards and project specifications.
- Train and mentor crew members on best practices in safety, equipment operation, and construction techniques.
- Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure compliance with project requirements.
Requirements
- Must have experience with installation of water, sewer and drainage systems
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the construction industry.
- Ability to operate various tools and equipment safely on-site.
- Excellent leadership skills with a focus on team development and safety compliance.
- Must have ability to read plans and shoot grades
- Must be able to coordinate ordering materials and planning jobs
- Must follow company safety protocols and guidelines.
- Must have a valid license
