Join Our Team as a Groundskeeper at Sunline's Laredo Terminal!
Are you passionate about keeping outdoor spaces clean, beautiful, and functional? Do you take pride in your work and enjoy working outdoors? Sunline Global, a leader in flatbed transportation, is looking for a Groundskeeper to join our Maintenance team at our Laredo terminal.
What You'll Do
As our Groundskeeper, you'll play a key role in ensuring the safety and appearance of our terminal. Your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining our outdoor spaces by mowing grass, trimming trees, weeding, and applying fertilizers or pesticides.
- Keeping the property clean by removing trash, debris, and hazardous materials like nails or wood from flatbed trailers.
- Operating and maintaining groundskeeping tools and equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and leaf blowers.
- Assisting with patio furniture arrangements and other building maintenance tasks as needed.
What You Bring to the Team
- Experience: At least 1 year of grounds maintenance or related experience.
- Skills: Knowledge of landscaping techniques, equipment maintenance, irrigation systems, and safe pesticide application.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift 50 lbs., work outdoors in various weather conditions, and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Communication: Proficiency in English and conversational Spanish preferred.
Requirements
- Valid Texas driver’s license.
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug/alcohol tests and background checks.
