Position Summary
The Production Assistant Engineer provides essential support to the production department by assisting with scheduling, material management, equipment maintenance, administrative coordination, safety compliance, and project support. This role ensures smooth and efficient production operations, contributing to the timely completion of orders and departmental objectives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
· Production Schedule Assistance:
o Assist in developing and maintaining production schedules.
o Support the operation of work order information systems.
· Material Management:
o Assist in material procurement, inspection, and inventory management to ensure availability and accuracy.
· Document Organization and Recording:
o Organize and maintain production-related documents, including work orders, reports, and SOPs.
· Equipment and Tool Management:
o Assist in scheduling and coordinating equipment maintenance and repairs.
o Manage production tools, including calibration and availability.
· Administrative and Communication Coordination:
o Facilitate communication between the production department and other departments.
o Schedule production meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action items.
o Handle daily administrative tasks.
· Safety and Environmental Management:
o Manage the issuance and application of PPE.
o Coordinate EHS education and training notifications.
o Verify compliance with 5S requirements and conduct on-site 5S audits.
· Other Assigned Tasks:
o Support the execution and tracking of production-related projects.
o Complete ad-hoc tasks as assigned by supervisors.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Basic knowledge of production processes and equipment maintenance. (Training will be provided after onboard)
- Familiarity with safety protocols and 5S principles.

- Experience with specific production management software.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Knowledge of specific industry standards or regulations.
- Experience with inventory management systems.
