Sunmark Credit Union's Business Development team is hiring! Join us in Mohegan Lake, NY, as we hire a market leader to foster strong relationships and expand our membership base. Our focus is on enhancing product penetration and driving sales growth. The role involves identifying, nurturing, and closing sales opportunities to support our Credit Union's financial goals.
We strive to strengthen community connections, actively participate in networking events and professional gatherings. In addition, increasing business at our Mohegan Lake financial center and across various departments. Work closely with internal departments to ensure seamless integration and delivery of financial wellness initiatives. We prioritize educating Community Business Partners (CBP) members and potential members (employed by CBPs) about tailored financial services that meet their specific needs. By cultivating employer group relationships, we strive to increase engagement and maximize our market share. Conduct onsite Credit Union enrollment meetings, events, and seminars within employer groups to encourage greater service utilization.

Typical hours are 8am-4 : 30pm and will include some evening and weekend hours. Must be able to train at our Administrative Offices in Latham, NY.
Starting pay, $85-95k based on experience.
Candidates should have a minimum of high school diploma / GED equivalent, degree preferred. Solid understanding of financial products, procedures, and regulations. A minimum of 3 years demonstrated ability within business development, or sales including the ability to motivate and influence others to take action. MS Office proficiency. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Strong organizational / attention to detail skills.
