Sunmerry Bakery is seeking a Kitchen staff to join our team!
Sunmerry started in Japan and was brought to Taiwan in 1986. With the Japanese baking techniques and local Taiwan flavors, Sunmerry Bakery has become a household name in Taipei. Reposibilities and Duties:
- Dough Separation
- Knowledge in dough proofing, decoration and baking
- Inventory Separation
- Fulfill customer pre-orders as well as well as vendor and central kitchen
- Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods, including bread, pastries, and etc
- Decorate pastries with toppings
- Follow recipes and measurements accurately to ensure consistent quality
- Monitor oven temperatures and adjust baking times as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe and hygienic work environment
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a baker or in a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of cake decorating techniques is highly desirable
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Excellent time management skills to meet production deadlines
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
Shift: starts at 5:00am
Job Type: Full-time
