Job Summary:
The Facility and Equipment Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of all equipment and facilities within the organization. This role ensures that all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems are functioning optimally, and facility operations meet regulatory requirements. The supervisor will manage maintenance personnel, develop work schedules, and collaborate with vendors to ensure the timely resolution of issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead the maintenance team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate preventative maintenance for equipment and facilities to ensure minimal downtime.
- Perform regular inspections of facility systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and safety systems.
- Respond to and resolve maintenance requests from staff, ensuring timely and effective service.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding building safety, equipment standards, and environmental guidelines.
- Oversee the installation, repair, and replacement of equipment and facility systems.
- Develop and maintain inventory records for tools, parts, and supplies; order materials as needed to maintain operations.
- Manage relationships with third-party contractors and vendors for specialized repairs and services.
- Assist with budgeting and cost control by tracking maintenance expenses and identifying opportunities for cost reduction.
- Maintain and update records for equipment maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
- Ensure the facility is safe, clean, and organized, adhering to all health and safety standards.
- Prepare reports on maintenance activities and suggest improvements to enhance facility operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in facilities management, engineering, or related field preferred).
- Proven experience in facility maintenance, equipment repair, or a similar field.
- Supervisory or leadership experience in a maintenance role.
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- Familiarity with building codes, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex maintenance issues.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Pay: $63,208.00 - $66,736.00 per year
