What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Line Technician position at Sunny Days Behavioral Therapy LLC?
We are currently hiring experienced ABA Therapists and RBT Therapists, for full time positions, to provide services in the homes, schools and/or at our Sunny Days Behavioral Therapy Center, located in Slidell, LA.

Here at Sunny Days, we offer children and their families a place to go for Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy, developmental services, and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) therapy. Our one-of-a-kind center is designed specifically to help children with behaviors, such as sensory processing, behavioral difficulties, learning skills, social skills and/or motor development skills. Sunny Days embraces each child and their individual needs.
Job Description
- Carry out individualized behavior programming under the direction of a BCBA, including but not limited to direct 1:1 ABA therapy
- Uses the basic criterion of applied behavior analysis (ABA) such as: reinforcement, prompting, and shaping techniques.
- Teaching ABA, social, and daily living skills.
- Adequately responding to and minimizing difficult or disruptive behaviors.
- Creating a fun, motivating experience to develop the highest level of achievement for every individual.
- Collecting data on ABA programming targets and utilizing an online system to enter, track, and view progress.
- Providing support to parents, teachers, and caregivers to make the most of their efforts in making our programs universal across all areas of the child's environment.
- Cleaning your area to make for a safe environment for our children
- Entering in daily notes
- Inform BCBA of any parent concerns and share strategies given by BCBA for client
- Regular communication with BCBA of client’s progression or regression
Position Requirements
- High School Degree
- 40 hour RBT course (provided by company)
- Background check
- Experience working with children, especially those with autism using ABA methodologies is preferred, but not required
- Candidates must be energetic, animated, and outgoing, with a passion for helping children achieve their true potential.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
