Responsibilities
- Provide individual therapy sessions to students
- Conduct assessments to determine students' mental health needs
- Collaborate with teachers and school staff to support student well-being
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of therapy sessions and student progress
- Offer crisis intervention and support as needed to students and families
- Master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field
- Valid state licensure as a therapist or clinical social worker or licensure eligible
- Experience working with children and adolescents in a mental health setting
- Strong understanding of developmental psychology and school systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build rapport and engage effectively with students
