Make a difference as a Medical Transportation Driver
As a Medical Transportation Driver at Sunny Ridge, your primary responsibility will be to ensure safe and timely transport for residents to and from medical appointments, ensuring each journey is comfortable and efficient. Daily tasks will also include assisting residents in-out of vehicles, maintaining vehicle cleanliness, and completing necessary paperwork to track transportation details.
Your work schedule will typically be Mon-Fri from approximately 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM, with occasional weekend shifts.

To thrive as a Medical Transportation Driver at Sunny Ridge, a clean driving record is a must, you must be 25 years of age or older, and be comfortable driving a large transportation van.
Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, patience, and understanding are crucial, as you'll engage with diverse elderly residents often in sensitive situations.
Requirements :
- Must have a clean driving record and be 25 or older
- Attention to detail
- Interpersonal skills
- Ability to quickly learn & operate transportation software
- Patience. Elderly people can be demanding and the scheduling may change from time to time
- CPR / First Aide training a plus
- Must be able to push wheelchairs with heavier individuals up ramps etc.
