As the HVAC Installation Manager, you will work as part of a dynamic and passionate team to maximize capacity, efficiency, and profitability. You will coach the team on how to exceed customer expectations and execute the highest quality installations on every job. This position will include reviewing installation jobs and preparing the installers so they can accomplish the highest quality installations, every time.

The HVAC Installation Manager will have the right balance of humility and self-confidence to be able to juggle the many facets of this position, while also effectively managing change in a fast-paced, complex, and dynamic business environment.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

This position is responsible for managing the HVAC Installation Department and handling customer service interactions, reports, and repairs and providing the highest level of customer service and developing lasting customer relationships. The essential functions of this role include:

  • Partnering, planning, and forecasting with service, dispatch, warehouse, and other various departments to ensure timely and accurate service to customers in accordance with company standards and procedures.
  • Setting expectations for each installation, including safety and code requirements.
  • Delegating and directing installation tasks, monitoring the progress of current projects, and managing service members to ensure the team’s objective and sales goals are met.
  • Managing budgets, costing estimates, and controlling expenses (supplies and labor).
  • Ensuring equipment is ordered and ready for each job and is properly staged and verified by install crews.
  • Following up and resolving escalated customer disputes/complaints, ensuring an effective and long-term resolution, and providing daily feedback to operational leadership.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving installation and start-up issues and monitoring and acting on trends involving Installation Technician callbacks and service opportunities.
  • Conducting training to ensure on-time, high-quality installations, and 5-star customer experience.
  • Promoting enthusiasm and brand loyalty during daily huddles, team meetings, and 1:1’s and providing consistent and accurate feedback, encouragement, support, coaching and professional development to Installation Technicians.
  • Performing quality and safety inspections on new Installations.
  • Conducting employee safety training, ensuring PPE is available and correctly used, and inspecting job sites and company vehicles to ensure all safety protocols are followed, along with managing the reporting and follow up of any workplace injuries.

Requirements:

  • ServiceTitan experience.
  • Experience successfully managing a team of 10 – 20 team members.
  • Proven history in HVAC installation, service, and/or coordination, with 5 years of demonstrated HVAC leadership experience.
  • Successful leadership/management experience managing a Home Service/Install team of over minimum of 15 employees.
  • Multi-tasker who enjoys collaborating with diverse teams on varied projects.
  • Meticulous and highly organized with exceptional follow-through abilities.
  • Analytical thinker who takes ownership and possesses an elevated level of financial acumen.
  • Strong decision-making abilities, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Advanced sense of integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent leadership skills to enhance productivity and standards of work produced.
  • Ability to oversee projects in a timely and efficient manner by deadlines.
  • Meticulous and highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and assignments.
  • Ability to read, interpret, utilize, and train on manuals, schematics, and control circuits related to HVAC and refrigeration systems.
  • Technical aptitude with knowledge of local codes and ability to use resources to find solutions.
  • Valid Driver’s license with ability to pass a full background check.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
