Live-in Caregiver

Job Summary
We are seeking a Live In Care Specialist to provide personalized care to individuals requiring assistance with daily living activities and various household tasks. This position requires the individual to live in the two bedroom one bath basement apartment while working closely with clients to ensure safety, comfort, and well-being. The ideal candidate will possess a strong empathy and patience in all interactions.

Duties

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
• Monitor clients' health and well-being, reporting any changes or concerns.
• Ensure a safe living environment by performing housekeeping tasks and maintaining cleanliness.
• Lift and assist clients as needed while adhering to safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate records of client progress and care provided.

Requirements

• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting clients with proper techniques.
• Catheter care including bag drainage, site cleaning, and infection monitoring.
• Basic cooking skills to prepare nutritious meals for clients as needed.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
• Must pass background checks and health screenings as required
