The Living Center at Sunny Vista, a non-profit skilled nursing facility, is Colorado Springs’ state-of-the-art healthcare campus with a 100 year history of Best-In-Care services, including rehabilitation, long-term care and independent living.

Qualification
- High school graduate or equivalent education is preferred.
- Motor coordination and manual dexterity.
- Willingness to perform routine duties, repetitive tasks with frequent interruptions.
- Ability to read, understand and follow directions in English as well as communicate verbally or in writing.
- High degree of personal hygiene and cleanliness.
Physical Requirements
Stands and walks continuously throughout the working day. Reaches, stoops, bends, lifts, carries and manipulates various housekeeping supplies and equipment. Ability to work with chemicals and cleaning agents. Must be free from infection or diseases. Must be able to bend and stoop as well as push, pull and/or lift a minimum of fifty pounds.
Duties
- Cleans and services resident rooms, bath rooms, offices and all common areas.
- Keeps utility storage room in order by cleaning lockers and equipment, arranging supplies and sweeping and mopping floor.
- Willingness to perform routine, repetitive tasks on a continuous basis, and to perform tasks despite frequent interruptions.
- Demonstrates initiative and judgement in maintaining assigned area in clean and orderly condition.
- Practices good infection control and safety measures.
- Performs tasks with the due consideration for residents in the vicinity.
- Works and cooperates well with other employees.
- Attends in-service/educational programs.

The base range represents the low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees.
