Dental Anesthesia Expertise
In this role, you will provide high-level anesthesia care to pediatric patients during in-office surgeries, working closely with Pediatric Dentists to ensure positive dental experiences for children.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Delivering specialized anesthesiology services within a dental practice, adapting to different clinical environments.
- Working closely with Pediatric Dentists to optimize patient cooperation through skilled anesthetic administration and airway management.
- Focusing on patients who require more than local anesthesia, such as children with dental anxiety, pediatric patients, or those with specific physical or cognitive disabilities.
Qualifications and Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- An educational background in Anesthesiology from an accredited institution.
- A valid medical or dental license in good standing.
- Required certifications include PALS, BLS, DEA, etc.
- Professional experience in anesthesia delivery, including intravenous deep sedation and general anesthesia.
- A collaborative approach to working closely with dental teams, including surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
