The Dental Anesthesiologist plays a crucial role in delivering quality dental care to pediatric patients undergoing in-office surgical procedures. This position requires expertise in anesthesia management, particularly for children with dental anxiety or specific needs, while collaborating closely with pediatric dentists and healthcare teams.
Responsibilities:
- Work with our pediatric population during Office-Based surgery days to provide high level anesthesia care.
- Provide specialized anesthesiology services within a dental practice, adapting to different clinical environments alongside a Pediatric Dentist.
- Collaborate with Pediatric Dentists, optimizing patient cooperation through skilled anesthetic administration and airway management.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Completion of an accredited Anesthesiology Residency
- Licensure and Certifications: Current, valid medical or dental license in good standing
- Required certifications include PALS, BLS, DEA, etc.
