You will be credentialed as a primary care provider and will have a panel of primary care patients. You would also get to treat patients with orthopaedic and/or opioid use disorders/diagnoses. You’ll be both a healthcare provider and an educator, and would work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals. Responsibilities
- Examine patients and their medical records
- Order and study diagnostic tests (blood tests, X-rays etc.)
- Prescribe medications
- Perform IV infusions
- Maintain accurate records and schedules
- Inform patients about their health conditions and prescribed medications
- Oversee patients’ overall health
- Promote good health practices
Required Experience
- Valid DEA number
- Valid unrestricted Nurse Practitioner License
- Expertise in an outpatient clinic
- Experience in IV infusions
- Knowledge of health and patient care regulations
- Familiarity with an electronic medical record system
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong ethics
- Team spirit with a positive attitude
- Willingness to continue gaining knowledge and clinical experience
Preferred experience
- Previous experience in an outpatient Orthopaedic clinic is a plus but is not required as long as you are willing to learn
- Previous experience in an Urgent Care Center is a plus but is not required
- Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) Certificationis required, provider must be willing to get this certification within one month of employement
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $58.00 - $72.00 per hour
