Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is looking for a Business Office Assistant for our 220 bed facility.
The Business Office Assistant is responsible for the timely input of information within the accounting systems at the facility and those, which interface with the home office. The Business Office Assistant assists with the overall administrative activities in accordance with current applicable Federal, State and local standards, guidelines and regulations, and as directed by the Administrator, to assure the proper administrative procedured are maintained at all times.
We are accepting applications for a highly motivated, organized, self-starter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have familiarity with Medicaid and the Accounts Receivable process, as well as general long term care/skilled nursing regulations. Responsibilities will include:
- Completion of daily census
- Assist families and residents with the Medicaid application process.
- Make collection calls to families for private pay, resident liabilities and any other outstanding accounts.
- Maintains resident trust accounts
- Complete daily deposits
- Assist with the insurance authorization process
- Maintains effective communication with residents, families, and facility staff
- Must be able to meet strict deadlines for reporting
Educational Requirements:
- Must possess, as a minimum, a 12th grade education or its equivalent. Experience:
- Must have, as a minimum, one year(s) experience in bookkeeping or accounting practices. Experience in health care accounting preferred but not required.
