Part time position, approx 16 hours / week, with additional hours available as charge nurse.

Infection Control Nurse Duties :
- Be an active member of the interdiciplinary team
- Oversee the facility Infection Prevention & Control program (IPCP)
- Work closely with the Director of Nursing and Administrator
- Maintain policies and procedures that meet RIDOH requirements & CDC guidelines
- Complete general infection control rounds and follow-up on issues identified
- Train staff on infection prevention policies as needed
- Be an active member of the QAPI team and attend quarterly meetings
