JOB TITLE: Equipment Maintenance Supervisor
JOB LOCATION: Spanish Fork, Utah (Onsite and in Person)
EXEMPTION STATUS: Salary
REPORTING TO: Director, Safety & Equipment
FUNCTION: The equipment maintenance supervisor is responsible for coordinating equipment and maintenance needs within all company locations. Directs the daily activities and facilitation of equipment. Leads maintenance, tracking, movement and record keeping activities of operations including trucks, forklifts, Moffett's, and all other facility equipment.
KEY ACTIVITIES:
- Leads, coaches, and mentor’s other professional personnel under their area of responsibility.
- Ensures that equipment is properly marked with unit numbers and branding and tracked in the HCSS system.
- Coordinates equipment maintenance needs with all managers across the organization for the distribution and disposal of equipment.
- Oversees employees, equipment, and leads the disposal of equipment.
- Plans and monitors employee training and certification in the HCSS E360 systems.
- Sets and oversees achievement of performance standards.
- Responsible for weekly reports and understanding of Work Order process and tracking.
- Ensures compliance with all safety and environmental requirements as well as the implementation of Samsara and camera placement.
- May assume delegated responsibilities when direct supervisor is not available.
- Ensures that all trucking and equipment receive proper maintenance and repair according to service agreements and equipment needs.
- Oversees tracking of equipment for each location and the transport of equipment to various locations.
- Understands and works with equipment tracking programs such as HCSS Equipment as well as the Cap X process.
- Responsible for recruiting, hiring, promoting, and implementing corrective actions when needed.Supports and oversees achievement of team performance goals.
- Reviews, understands, and adheres to contracts, policies, and applicable legal standards.
- Other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- Strong knowledge of HCSS E360 as well as D365.
- Ability to communicate with all levels of employees and leadership.
- Strong leadership attributes.
- Exceptional interpersonal, problem solving, and technical skills.
- Knowledge of equipment, and vehicles, of multiple makes and brands.
- Maintain insurable driving record.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
- Demonstrated experience managing people and processes in a facility and equipment environment.
- CDL Class A or B preferred but not required.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Physical work requirements medium: exerting up to 25 pounds of force regularly.
- Repetitive motion associated with operating equipment.
- Regular exposure to the elements.
- Frequent bending, standing, lifting, and ongoing physical activity.
