JOB TITLE: Field Support Specialist
JOB LOCATION: Grand Junction, CO
FUNCTION: The Sunpro Field Support Specialist provides support to the Sales Representative by performing back office and customer support activities.
REPORTING TO: Building Materials Location ManagerSALARY: $30,000 - $40,000
KEY ACTIVITIES:
- Visualize, define, plan, communicate, and implement the company vision and core values.
- Provide back-office support to sales team by processing customer orders, tracking and reporting key data, and maintaining account records, etc.
- Support project bids by conducting research, collecting data, and interfacing with key internal partners.
- Contact customers and prospects to arrange appointments or to update them regarding the status of an order or a delivery.
- Communicate customer needs/concerns to sales team, informing them of any problems or issues that may affect customer relations.
- Enter order details in Bistrack and confirm that price, discount level and product requirements are correct.
- Track and communicate stock availability and production schedules to sales team and relevant internal partners.
- Accurately maintain customer records, ensuring that customer, prospect, and account information is correct.
- Prepare and maintain accurate sales, activity, and expense reports.
- Monitor customer job progress.
- Perform credit collection on past due accounts for assigned customers.
- Maintain effective relationships with employees that have contact with customers.
- Assist field labor and perform other tasks as needed.

- Ability to review and analyze details information.
- Robust information and task management skills.
- Possesses a detailed knowledge of Sunpro products, processes, and relevant production capabilities.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience in sales, construction, or related field.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Physical Work Requirements - Medium: exerting up to 15 lbs of force regularly.
- Consistent history of exceptional professional progress and performance.
- Repetitive motion associated with operating a computer and other office equipment.
