JOB TITLE: Receiving Associate
JOB LOCATION: Rexburg, ID
REPORTING TO: Assistant Retail Manager
STATUS: Full-Time
FUNCTION: The Receiving Clerk is responsible for physically and electronically receiving lumber products in accordance with customer demand and business need.
KEY ACTIVITIES:
- Visualizes, fulfills, and implements Company vision and core values.
- Tracks and evaluates inventory levels while maintaining current PO and product labels..
- Receives deliveries, inspecting order quality and comparing invoices to materials received to ensure that shipments are correct.
- Completes required documentation associated with incoming materials.
- Stocks delivered building materials in designated inventory locations.
- Performs general clerical duties to include, but not limited to, bookkeeping, copying, faxing, mailing, and filing.
- Creates and modifies documents such as invoices, reports, add credits, and letters using Microsoft Office Suite and other applications.
- Performs/prioritizes work activity according to business needs and as directed by supervisor.
- Communicates with customers, coworkers, and vendors in a courteous, effective, and respectful manner.
- Adheres to all company policies and procedures as outlined in the employee handbook and code of conduct.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 2-3 years’ experience in customer service or a related field.
- Microsoft Office Suite, including: Work, Outlook, Excel, etc.
- Experience with retail building products/materials a plus.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Physical Work Requirements - Medium: exerting up to 30 lbs. of force.
- Repetitive motion associated with operating office equipment.
- Frequent bending, standing, lifting, and ongoing physical activity.
