What are the responsibilities and job description for the Experienced Solar Permit Coordinator position at SunPurity?
Job Description: Looking for self-motivated individuals who are determined to move up in our growing company.
Responsibilities:
- Research and document the permit process for every application to ensure timely permit submission at the county & city level, help with preparing building permit submittal packages.
- Follow-up with appropriate departments on pending jobs
- Follow-up with local municipalities on permit status
- Navigate through scheduling software to update permit status
- Upload all received permits and applications
- Scheduling inspections in a timely manor.
- Date entry to the CRM
- Scheduling site surveys
- Order materials for projects
- Scheduling adders & installations with customers.
- Work closely together with our field operations manager.
- Additional administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to follow management direction
- Ability to function autonomously and efficiently
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat Reader a plus
- Knowledge of permitting process in New Jersey or past experience working with NJ municipalities.
