Job Summary
*This position will include a mandatory paid training period, including a paid 15 hour tanning professional certification program completed in-store. After training, You will have the opportunity for commission and performance bonuses. Opportunity to grow within the organization as we promote from within.*
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Tanning Consultant to join our team. As a Tanning Consultant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, promoting tanning products and services, and ensuring a clean and safe tanning environment. If you have a passion for sales and enjoy helping customers achieve their desired tanning results, we would love to hear from you.
```Duties```
-Open the store each morning, including sometimes Saturdays
- Operate the front desk, greet customers and provide them with a warm welcome to the salon
- Educate customers on the different tanning packages and services available
- Assist customers in selecting the appropriate tanning products based on their needs
- Operate tanning equipment and ensure that it is properly maintained and cleaned
- Monitor customer tanning sessions to ensure safety and compliance with regulations
- Upsell additional products or services to enhance the customer's tanning experience
- Maintain a clean and organized salon environment
Skills
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Strong retail sales skills with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Ability to upsell products or services to maximize revenue opportunities
- Excellent organizational skills to manage customer appointments and maintain salon cleanliness
- Experience in the tanning industry is a plus
- Proficiency in sales, such as selling tanning lotions or accessories
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities is a plus, but not required
