High School Principal

High School Principal for 2025-2026

Qualifications, Education, and Certification:

• Valid Texas Principal Certification preferred
• Experience in a high school classroom preferred
• Experience in an administrative high school (non-classroom) role preferred
• Experience with a variety of CTE pathways preferred

Responsibilities, Expectations, Special Knowledge, and Skills:

• Ability to lead and supervise campus personnel
• Possess a high-level of knowledge in curriculum, instruction, and best practices for high school classrooms
• Create, lead, and supervise a campus schedule
• Communicate effectively with staff, parents, students, district administrators, and community members
• Manage the campus budget and building operations
• Prioritize demanding tasks
• Ability to problem-solve and utilize strong decision-making skills
• Promote high expectations for students and staff
• Coordinate state testing and training
• Willing to attend and supervise a variety of extracurricular activities
• Other duties as assigned

Salary:

The position is commensurate with experience.
